Minor improvements bring major results when planning on putting your home for sale.
Take this cute condo in Bryan Place in Dallas for example. After meeting with the client and devising a plan of action, we determined that:
- Painting the home with an on-trend color throughout, complemented the fixed elements (flooring, countertops, tile) in the home
- The kitchen could be updating simply by painting the cabinets and adding a new built-in microwave
- Glazing the tile in the bathroom and removing the dated brass shower screen could transform the space
These changes gave target buyers in the neighborhood exactly what they are looking for – a move-in ready home.
Once all the painting and minor repairs were done, staging and styling began using the sellers furnishings and accessories. We just had to supplement a few items from our inventory to give the condo the appeal it needed for younger target buyers.
Our clients investment toward the renovations and staging more than paid off. The condo listed for the highest dollar per square footage in the community and had five offers within two days. And, it sold above the asking price! Talk about great results. Good home staging not only benefits the seller, but the value of the community as well.
