The listing agent of this condo had advised the seller on all the above. The photographer was sent in and took the pictures for the listing to go live on MLS but it was not enough.
The home did not show the potential it had; it was not professionally staged for sale.
That is when Design by KETI was brought to professionally stage the home for sale. On this home, there were certain challenges we had to overcome:
- In the living room: the sofa was placed against the kitchen island and it made the whole area look smaller than it was; which sent the message to the buyer that this condo is not big enough;
- In the master bedroom: mismatched furniture and wrong furniture placement was the theme, which sent the message to the buyer that this condo is not big enough;
- In the guest bedroom; the single bed alluded to little square footage which sent the message to the buyer that this condo is not big enough;
By addressing the three main challenges listed above and strategically accessorizing the condo throughout we were able to turn it into the main attraction in the area.
Our hard work and targeted staging paid off.
This condo left the competition behind; it listed for sale on Friday, September 6th; it had two offers on Sunday during an open house event and another one on Monday.
