As always on luxury homes one of the things that I believe is a must is to use original artwork and beautiful Persian rugs that are the right size for each of the rooms we are staging. Scale is very important and if anything, I always scale up and never down. On some homes an 8x10 area rug is just not going to cut it especially if the goal is to achieve a luxurious look and feel.
A funny thing happened with this one though. Once the clients followed thru with our design related recommendations prior to staging the home and once we staged the home, they decided to move back in.
If the owners themselves have a change of heart and don't want to sell the home, we are totally fine with it. It means we have done our job right and that's all that matters.
